When the Campaign Ends

If you've reached the end of the Las Lomitas and La Entrada Cool Campaign, congratulations!

We hope you and your family feel well on your way to living a lifestyle that contributes much less greenhouse gas to the atmosphere than before. We know you've made some changes, and hope you've learned a lot and enjoyed connecting with your community over this important issue.

What Else Can You Do?

Stay alert. Keep learning, keep striving to add to your knowledge of ways to improve your lifestyle habits to benefit the planet. If some of the actions in this program hit a nerve, made you feel uncomfortable but you didn't adopt it, keep yourself open and see if you're ready to tackle it in a few months. Adopting every challenge in this program would be wonderful but is not expected! But do keep yourself at the ready for making more changes in the coming months.

Stay in touch. The email group for the Las Lomitas & La Entrada community will live on and continue to serve a valuable resource for environmental issues. We'd also love to hear from you about the Community Cool Campaign program and how it worked for you: Contact Ellen M. Wilkinson, ellenw@acterra.org orActerra, your local environmental organization responsible for bringing you this program.

Tell your friends and family. Share what you've learned, be a catalyst for change in the lives of those nearest and dearest to you. We wield more influence than you might think! Remember, it is whenmillions of us make changes, even small changes, to our energy use that we'll have a powerfulimpact!

Use your vote wisely. Pay attention to the environmental values of political candidates you are considering voting for. Don't hesitate to write a letter or make a phone call to make your feelings known. We have a democracy, we should use it well!
